Great. It's the 13th and I'm still drinking every day. My only slip was to switch to Scotch one night. A couple of the beers I've had over the past week were Green King IPA and Twisted Thistle IPA from the Belhaven brewery in Dunbar, Scotland. Actually, Belhaven is now owned by Greene King. They were both picked up in Amherst, NS in early December. Both are beers I have tried in the past but this time around, the Greene KIng IPA has gone off a bit, while the THistle is just as good as it was a couple of months ago. THe difference is the clear glass bottle that Greene King uses. I don't know why the marketing guys keep winning that argument. Beer simply does not store as well in clear glass. I had the same experience with a Spitfire, again gone to skunk in a clear bottle.
CHeers, Sean
