Summers End Folk Fest this weekend...
The Summers End Folk Festival is just that - a festival celebrating music and the arts as well as closing to another summer. Situated on the small island of Grand Manan, Nestled in the south western corner of New Brunswick, Canada - SEFF is a festival founded on creativity, the arts and bringing music into the community of Grand Manan.
Summers End, now in its second year was started with the hopes of being the basis of many ongoing opportunities and beginnings as well as a beacon for the arts community on the Island. At the heart of the festival you'll find two things, a love for good music as well as the people of this Grand Manan.
This is our way of trying to do something positive and beautiful within the community.
SEFF is a festival spanning two days, August 26th and 27th 2011. We host a wide range of performers both new and established. This years festival will consist of 10 performers over two nights in an intimate outdoor setting, just steps away from the ocean.
The Summers End Folk Festival will be held outdoors at Gallaway's, located at 121 rte 776 on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick.

Dear friends, family - all summers enders!
Sadly Summers End has come and gone - we took in the stars and danced to shotgun jimmie - yodeled around the fires with Old Man Luedecke and dodged a hurricane by a few hours!
We all had a blast at the festival, and hopefully all of you who were able to make it over also did!
