Simeon Jones enjoys a slugfest...

One week after a tightly contested battle, the Picaroons Men's Orthodox Softball team turned to some ice cold Simeon Jones to get the bats rolling and it was just the thing the team needed to avenge an opening day loss and out slug the opposing Red Sox in a 18 - 16 victory.  Sparked by both Pics brew and his european souvenirs, Denis Ryan made an inspired return to the mound pitching 3 solid innings before retiring to the dugout and giving way to Dubee who closed out the victory.  The Dubster also contributed a pair of long bombs to lead the offensive outburst.  The team's record is now 5W 3L
