New Years Resolution

Okay. My big resolution this year was to drink more. So far, so good. Not a day has gone by in 2010 when I haven't had at least one beer, besides that required at work. In December, I brought back a bunch of beer from Halifax so I'm working through that. Tonight's choice is actually a Christmas present from Griff. It's a bottle of Orval, a great Trappist Ale from Belgium. It was brewed in April 2009 and is still in pretty good shape. It's pretty fruity for a Trappist ale but dries nicely on the finish. My drinking parameters are: I'm at home answering emails. No food, just beer. I'm in a good mood. That's important. Background music is provided by a Curious George video in the background as my son winds down for bedtime. A great time for this beer. Cheers, Sean
