Irish Red and Feels Good power Picaroons to double header sweep.

After a few Sunday evenings of games cancelled due to rain the Picaroons Men's Orthodox softball team was chomping at the bit to get out on the field for a double header against the Bell ExpressVu team. With a cooler full of cold Picaroons Feels Good and Irish Red the boys seemed to have a little extra motivation. The 2 teams squared off @ 6:00pm at Kimble Park where the Picaroons team came out gunning picking up 7 runs by the end of the second inning. After 3 innings ExpressVu had given Picaroons reason to be concerned...they put up 4 runs in the inning pulling to within 2 runs of the lead. Picaroons put an end to any thought of a comeback scoring 5 runs in the 4th and 3 runs in the 5th giving Picaroons a 16-6 victory. The win maintains Irish Red's perfect season pushing it's record to 3-0 and giving The Feels Good Imperial Pilsner its first decision of the season.

Mike Dubee pitched a gem for the win.

The guys had a 2.5 hour break in between games. Many a Picaroons flowed into cups during the break which had "Feels Good" taking on a whole new meaning for us. :)

Now one might think that would somehow impair the play of the Picaroons team for the second game of the double header...... but one would be wrong. Irish Red and Feels Good had the exact opposite effect on the team and we actually picked it up a notch. The second game produced an offensive onslaught from the Picaroons team rarely seen against a quality pitching team like Bell ExpressVu. Picaroons took it to them and put up 30 runs over 7 innings. Final score in game 2: 30-11 for Picaroons!

Who needs Sports Drinks when obviously Pics Irish Red and Feels Good have a similar replenishing effect on the body!!!

Jon Johnson pitched a strong game going the distance and picking up the win.

The win in game 2 again maintains Picaroons Irish Red Perfect Season running it's record to 4-0.
The Feels Good Imperial Pilsner has a great start to it's season earning a record of 2-0.
